Dee319 I totally agree with you why is this in the news? It is no ones business but that school district and the parents and children of that district enough already who cares.

mooster4200 - I'm with you, NO CASINO!!! We need people to have their money in their pockets and to spend it wisely.... NOT in a slot machine. I also agree that some sort of grocery store needs to be downtown. I'm sure people can't do all of their food shopping at their neighborhood corner store.

I think they also used the new house as collateral on loans for their belly up business

I may be wrong but I think I read (in another extreme makeover article from another state whose new house went either up for sale or was foreclosed on) That the show/ producers / network set up a fund or an account with enough in it it carry the household taxes and utilities for I think up to 3 years. What the people do with the money is up to them, but if it is spent on what it is intended for then affording the new house shouldnt be a problem. It is the people in that other state that took the money that was supposed to be for the new house expenses and used it for startup money for a business venture that went bad that have the issues.

The people that needed to know got a letter.. why is this news. Next thing you are going to read is that parents are in an uproar because little johnnys teacher go a boob job and the kids started asking their parents about it. This isnt news it is a private matter between the teacher and the district and the parents that need to know. My son had a teacher last year that all the kids believed was fired because he came out of the closet. He was there one day and not the next... the day after he came out. And the kids were all behind him to support him as he never did anything inapproriate around any of them.

OK both my kids go to Greece, my daughters bus stop changed my sons did not. Am I happy that my 8 year old has to walk to a different corner than the one in front of her house (where there is a stop sign) No, but I understand that the 3 other kids that she was at the same stop with last year are now 6th graders leaving only her at the stop. Even though the bus has to stop at the stop sign anyway, I am not going to ask them to create a stop there for her. Her AM stop is a few houses away at another corner where there are other 3-5th graders, her PM stop is a little more of an issue. It is way up a busy road in front of an apartment complex, and she would have to cross the busy road and walk in the opposite direction of the bus to get home. I called this morning and asked if she could have the same PM stop as her AM stop (being there is a stop there in the afternoon too and it is the same bus she would have to ride she would just have to stay on it 5 minutes longer. It shouldnt be a problem I just have to talk to the driver the first week of school. The point of this is... dont create a big issue until you know it is an issue... if the kids are riding the same bus and there is a stop already on the route that you are more comfortable with than call and ask. IF there is a stop 5 houses on your left and your kid got scheduled for the stop 15 houses to your right just call or talk to the driver. When they make the bus stops there is a lot to concider they dont go around saying little johnny lives here and he has 4 sisters so mom cant get them to walk on time and susie lives here and her mom will be upset if she has to walk 2 houses away.... ALSO......... I wonder how many of the parents that are concerned about the Bus stop let little johnny or susie ride their bike or walk to a friends house around the corner or down the block all summer long with no reservations. Chances are that friends house is farther away than their bus stop.

Don't worry Jills fans. In a few years the "Bills" will be in Toronto and you will be able to watch all the games you want on local stations. Even the NFL network. Enjoy! ;) -Steeler Fan
